The attack was captured on surveillance video, and in the video (which you can see below) you can see Solange wildly kicking and swatting at the rapper. The photos accompanying the story were taken as they left the party.

Michael and Carissa Alvarado met on the set of a music video. So it seems only fitting that their relationship would have a lot to do with song.
Michael, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, was only in Los Angeles for a quick trip when he wound up as an extra on a music video set and met Carissa. The pair hung out during the three-hour shoot, and on the way home from there, Michael told a friend that he’d met the woman he was going to marry. Sure enough, after a long-distance courtship, Michael moved to L.A. and married Carissa.
It was definitely an emotional experience,” Carissa said of performing a new song for the first time in front of their nearest and dearest. “But it was super fitting, and there was no one we wanted to share that with besides our family and friends.” Though the Alvarados admit to being nervous about both the wedding and their new song, the sweet reactions — including tears! — from their loved ones made it worth it.
Though they’ve only been married for only a year, the Alvarados do have some marriage advice. “You shouldn’t settle for anybody less than your dream partner,” Michael says.
Missing School Girls: Patience Jonathan Weeps Publicly (Must Watch Video)
Watch the video below
First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan, has expressed her grief over the missing Chibok schoolgirls who were abducted by suspected Boko Haram members 20 days ago as she was all tears yesterday at a meeting she convened in Abuja.
Patience Jonathan had on Friday set up a committee headed by the Borno State governor’s wife to ensure attendance of several stakeholders at the said meeting which she convened to discuss the missing girls but the governor’s wife did not even show up for the meeting.
As if that was not enough, the principal of the affected school also came alone to Abuja unaccompanied by any teacher or parent. Also, no student who escaped from the terrorists came for the meeting and the vigilante group, wife of the Chibok village head, the gate man of the school, chairman and secretary of the Parent Teachers Association and the school matron were also absent
Agitated by this, the first lady broke down in tears at the meeting and wept publicly. She was devastated that the school had no stand-by power generator and no extra security was provided at the school.
She insisted that the state Governor and the Commissioner for Education should be blamed for the abduction of the girls as they allegedly failed to act on the letter from the Minister of Education asking for relocation of West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE) candidates to Maiduguri or safer places.
Towards the end of the meeting, it was gathered that Patience broke down in tears once again saying: “You want to kill my husband; you want to make me a widow before you go and rest. My God will never make me a widow.”

stop everything you’re doing right now, Upper East Siders, and listen to this ah-mazing cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” performed by the one and only Leighton Meester and her friend Dana Williams!
Leiighton is back in NYC right now, performing in Broadway’s Of Mice and Men with James Franco and Chris O’Dowd, and while I am obviously a huge fan of her acting, I do also love when she sings her heart out. Can we just talk about how talented she is?
Tell me, loves–are you dying for L to put out an album asap, or are you content as long as she keeps releasing videos like this every now and then?
PS- While we’re having this Leighton lovefest right now, check out pics of the Gossip Girl actress through the years!
Controversial gospel singer turned internet sensation, Maheeda, has finally dropped the video she has been promoting online for the past couple of months.
‘9ja bad girl’ as she likes to call herself has been working on a new song, as she made us know, and now it’s time to check it out.
The part of everything that has kept a lot of people waiting on this video would be her promo photo shots. Maheeda went all out of her clothes and even threw in a couple gymnastic moves naked, just to promote this new single.
The single ‘Las Gidi Chic’ has an upbeat tempo, very colorful and clear pictures, and surprisingly not as much nudity as the singer is popularly known for, there is also not a single naked scene in it, as her promo shots would have made some people believe.
Compared to her previous video ‘naija bad girl’, one could say she got things more subtle in order to appeal to a larger audience, and permit replays on tv.
If you are one of the fans who are concerned about lyrics, don’t miss out her references to other singers Beyonce and Rihanna

Ellen Page — who hit Hollywood hard with “Juno” — just came out in pretty spectacular fashion — declaring she’s gay and saying, “I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission.”
The 26-year-old actress formally unveiled her sexuality at Time to Thrive, an LGBT conference designed to help the LGBT youth, saying, “I am here today because I am gay … and because maybe I can make a difference.”
Page said, “I suffered for years because I was scared to come out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I’m standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of the pain.”
Her next big film is “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” Hollywood will embrace Ellen … it will be interesting to see if studio big wigs will do the same.
